Unfortunately, I woke up with a little bit of a cold this morning. Beatrice (my homestay mom) assures me that all of the girls who live here get that, she thinks because of the change in going from New York to Paris. I think it's because it's 45 degrees outside every morning and doesn't get warmer than about 63.

Unfortunately, I woke up with a little bit of a cold this morning. Even though I had a sore throat this morning, I opened my bedroom door to find my homestay mom's daughter's (she lives in another apartment in this building) cocker spaniel puppy, Jedi, outside. She just runs around the house peeing on things and looking incredibly cute, while Beatrice's dog, Pudding, follows her around, jealous of all the attention that Jedi gets.
All I've been doing recently is going to class everyday from 9:30 to 1, then attending a bunch of required presentations (like how to study at the University of Paris, or setting up a bank account). Then I come home, do my homework, and go to sleep. I'm exhausted everyday, but tonight I'm going to bed early for the first time! Tomorrow I'm going on a walking tour of the Latin Quarter (named for all of the college students who were studying latin there in the Middle Ages and is now home to the Sorbonne, as well as a lot of other universities) and then I'm going on a boat tour of the Seine on Friday.
