Happy Halloween!!
So the French don't really celebrate Halloween, which is unfortunate because it's a fun holiday. (Who doesn't love free candy?). Anyways, being incredibly American, we all decided to throw a party and get dressed up. First though, a couple of my friends and I traveled all the way out to the suburbs of Paris to see the new James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, which I think doesn't come out for another 2 weeks in the US. If you want any spoilers, let me know. The movie was good and after we went to the Halloween party, but by the time we got there, most people had had enough and were on their way out. Anyways, the picture below kind of describes the night, as it was rainy, meaning no cabs, and the metro was closed, so we had to walk like 60 minutes to get home with only my umbrella. In case you're wondering, Ferris is a school teacher, Sara was a witch, and I was a French person...
Wow, we are way too smiley for how we actually felt. My feet were so wet that there was actual puddles in the bottom and I was making squishy sounds with every step. They still haven't dried out yet.
