Fitting it all in...

As my time in Paris come to a close, I find myself (along with everyone else) trying to cram in all those last minute things that are on my list of things to do. So here's what I did last week.

Musée Carnavalet
This is a museum that my Monuments class professor told me about. It's an old house in the Marais that is devoted to the history of Paris. I went after class on a snowy turned to rainy Tuesday. The museum is huge and filled with tons of crazy things, including locks of Marie Antoinette's hair, a tea salon that was reconstructed in the museum, remnants from this giant statue of Henri IV that was destroyed during the Restoration, as well as tons of other things. It was really good, and if it hadn't been for my professor, I would have never even found it.

Crazy Horse
My friends and I went to this famous burlesque show on Thursday night. Oddly enough, most of the people there were older couples. In fact, the older lady in front of me had binoculars, guess she wanted to get her money's worth. Anyways, the stage is incredibly small, so apparently the women have to be really short. It was an interesting experience, and as Beatrice said, "très Parisian."

I feel like I did something else too, but I can't remember. Oh well, maybe it will come to me later...
